Hello McKinnon Community! Interested in volunteering a little of your time to support an awesome nonprofit while building your client base? Please consider volunteering at the Permagardens Foundation Fundraiser on Saturday Aug 16th in El Cerrito. The Permagardens Foundation trains global communities facing malnutrition and food scarcity. Our mission is to support the use of ecologically sound, climate-resilient permaculture principles, which families and communities can follow to become food self-sufficient. The event begins at 11am on August 16th with snacks, music, and games, followed by a delicious locally sourced lunch. Volunteer massage therapists would receive a free lunch and then donate their time from 2-5pm to provide 30-60 minute massages to clients. You are also welcome to bring and distribute your contact info/business cards to network and build your practice. The venue is Hillside Urban Sanctuary in El Cerrito, which has both indoor and outdoor spaces for setting up a table or floor mat.
