Support4Recovery and Carson’s Wings of Hope, two local nonprofits who support men and women in recovery, is co-hosting a recovery wellness holiday celebration on December 14, from 2 – 6pm at John Muir Elementary in Martinez. Families will come together to receive a holiday meal and receive toys for their children. We are also offering expressive arts for adults and children, gentle movement class demos and we hope to be able to offer chair massages for adults in attendance. Our goal is to introduce those in attendance with a variety of health and wellness modalities – including massage. We are looking for 3 – 5 volunteers who can volunteer their time to join us and provide 15 – 20-minute chair massages.
