McKinnon Graduate Massage Clinic

Book an appointment at McKinnon’s Graduate Massage Clinic!

At McKinnon, we strongly believe in a whole-person approach to massage & are proud to offer skilled, affordable massage therapy based on this foundation.

Your practitioner will be a McKinnon graduate & CAMTC Certified Massage Therapist proficient in a number of modalities.

All clinic therapists are trained in foundational massage techniques, plus a number of additional modalities.

What To Expect

Before your first session, you will fill out an intake form that details your health history. You & your practitioner will then discuss your current needs and the desired outcome of your massage session. Some medical conditions are contraindicated for massage, therefore you should always inform your practitioner of all medical conditions prior to your session.

Your massage will take place in a comfortable, private, & tranquil room. Many styles of bodywork are performed with the client unclothed, however, you will determine the amount of clothing you prefer to wear based on your comfort. You will be covered at all times to keep you warm & comfortable. Only the area being worked on will be exposed.

Shiatsu & Thai Massage sessions are performed on a padded floor mat, while you are fully clothed. Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for movement.

To get the most out of your massage, allow yourself time prior to & after the session to relax. It is recommended that you drink plenty of water afterward.

Matt Chapman (he/they) (CAMTC# 96424) “Say yes to comfort!”
“I organize my practice to help my clients restore and maintain comfort, freedom of movement, and range of motion. I use a therapeutic application of deep tissue, orthopedic, and myofascial techniques. My sessions are specific and targeted, while integrating that focused work with the client’s whole body.

Decades of experience teaching and directing actors in movement and physical theatre have taught me to listen deeply to people and their bodies. Using clear and consistent communication, we will work together towards your personal goals for the session – and over time.”

Modalities: Deep Tissue, Orthopedic, Myofascial Release, Trigger Points

Hours: Tuesdays 2-7pm

Cecilia Lam (she/her) (CAMTC# 96089) In my practice, I love and value: Slowing down. Listening. Depth. Nurturing. Precision. Holding space. Stillness.

I came to value bodywork during a “dark night of the soul” period of my life. My favorite bodywork sessions returned me to a feeling of safety and nurturing, enough to help me release grief, return to my body, and slowly begin to heal. I learned firsthand that the body was a place that could store deep grief and pain, but it could also, at the same time, be the source of great transformation and healing.

Through my practice, I seek to offer deep listening and provide the body, heart, mind, and spirit enough space to return to stillness.

Modalities: Swedish, Deep Tissue, Craniosacral, Acupressure

Hours: Wednesdays 2-7pm

Languages: English, Cantonese

Megan Malcolm (she/her) (CAMTC #96407) My goal is to facilitate a sacred window of time for you to drop into your body and tune into what comes up. It’s incredible what our bodies can tell us when we make time to slow down and listen.

Swedish/Prenatal sessions are offered on a table, with the use of oil or lotion. Prenatal clients in their 2nd & 3rd trimesters are welcome. Shiatsu sessions are best offered on a mat on the floor, however; a table can be used if preferred. For Shiatsu and Reiki: clothing remains on, no oil or lotion is used.

I offer deep gratitude to each of my teachers and the wisdom of the cultures that are not my own, from which I have had the opportunity to learn.

Modalities: Prenatal, Shiatsu, Swedish, Reiki

Hours: Fridays 2-7pm
