Job Requisition: 23-119 Massage Therapist
“This position is for a corporate fitness/wellness amenities center in South San Francisco, servicing employees of multiple Biotech companies. The facility is beautiful.”

We’re seeking a Massage Specialist to join our team. As our new Massage Specialist you will:

  • Greet and service members in a friendly and professional manner
  • Provide individualized massage therapy services and treatments that meet the clients’ needs
  • Initiate, develop, and maintain personalized relationships with clients
  • Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by law and the spa’s policies and procedures
  • Handle guests’ questions and concerns professionally and courteously
  • Promote and sell massage therapy services and treatments and encourage repeat business
  • Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa
  • Remains current on certifications and new trends in the industry
  • Other duties as assigned

The Ideal Candidate would have:

  • Applicable education, licensure, and credentials to perform massage therapy
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification

Additional Details:

  • Swedish & Deep Tissue (additional modalities/specialties is a plus but not required)
  • 1 day/week, either Wednesday or Thursday
  • 8 hour time block. Additional days are added upon demand.
  • Therapist pay would be $40-$45/ hour, regardless of bookings. Tips can be accepted.
  • Space is already equipped with a table and cleaning supplies. I believe therapist will bring their own linens.”
