“Aster Acupuncture is hiring [Certified] Massage Therapists.

Aster Acupuncture is an established Acupuncture-Massage clinic – urban Sanctuary in the heart of Oakland, nestled between the Fox Theater and Lake Merritt.

We would love to welcome a few caring Massage therapists to help us heal the world one person at a time, and have you become part of our small team of [Certified] Massage Therapists and Licensed Acupuncturists.

Positions available:

• We are looking to hire [Certified] Massage Therapists, as independent contractors on a percentage based income generated through Massage Therapy Treatments. This position is for you if you enjoy focusing on treating clients, while we take care of the business side: (the front desk, scheduling, and billing). We have a very loyal community of existing clients, and also welcome you to bring your own clients. We will provide you with a flexible schedule with enough time in between treatments. We will provide you with beautiful, serene rooms, tables, linens, oils, and a break room.

Requirements for [Certified] Massage Therapists:

• 500 hours or more of Massage education.
• Current Massage [Certification] valid in California.
• Liability Insurance for Massage Therapy.
• Training and proficiency in Deep Tissue Massage, and Myofascial Cupping, and any of the following modalities: Tui Na, Swedish, Shiatsu, Acupressure, Cranio Sacral, Prenatal, Sports Massage, Reiki,and Lymphatic Massage.

We have flexible shifts available on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 am-4 pm, and 4 pm-10 pm. We are looking for friendly practitioners who are excited to get started, and would like to do at least 3 shifts a week. We welcome new Graduates.
