Joanne is a delightful person in her 70’s, seeking massage therapy in her home in Alameda where she lives with her husband of 45 years. She’s in hospice care with a brain tumor and with not much time left here on earth. She’s not in pain, wishes to receive very gentle touch, likely through her clothing, in the hospital bed in the livingroom, where she is most comfortable. (No massage table needed, no lifting required). Joanne’s sense of humor is very much alive, although her memory is shaky at best.
As her friend, I’m the go-between to facilitate scheduling sessions in Joanne’s home. Thank you!
