Job Description
We are looking for energetic, creative, and enthusiastic Licensed Massage Therapist who Specializes in (Lymphatic Drainage Technique) to join the Shaped team at our body and skin lounge in San Francisco, CA. They must possess excellent communication skills and be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our clients.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop treatment plans based on client’s conditions and goals.
Ability to monitor clients’ reaction to the massage and adjust techniques as necessary.
Effectively educate clients on the benefits of Lymphatic massage and how to incorporate into their self-care routine.
Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace and ensure that all equipment is property sanitized. Perform prep work, properly clean and restock room as required.
Actively promote Shaped, treatments, memberships, services and retail, as well as programs, promotions and/or discounts available.
Be on time for your shift, possess excellent time management skills that can perform services within the appropriate time allotted for the service.
Ability to perform at least 5 massages within a 6-hour shift.
Provide consistent professional massage and/or body treatment in accordance with Shaped’s standards and accepted certification practices.
Qualifications
The Ideal candidate must have the following experience, skills, and education:
Hold and maintain a current California state license, and a current liability insurance for Massage Therapy.
Ability to maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
Adhere to professional ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of clients and company.
Minimum of three years’ experience. Advanced degree preferred.
Have weekend and/or night shift availability, Be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the Shaped.
Passionate about holistic healing, wellness and self-care routines.
Possess a mindset of excellent customer services and outstanding experiences as a top priority,
Able to perform therapeutic deep healing bodywork such as deep tissue and other specialty massages.
A team player with excellent communication and listening skills.
