The goal of this course is to familiarize beginning students with basic anatomical terms along with an overview of the cardiovascular, nervous, lymphatic, muscular, & skeletal systems with respect to the ways in which each is affected by Swedish massage; and names & general locations of major bones & skeletal muscles – all of which will help you communicate effectively with clients & other health professionals.

Prerequisite(s):  No prerequisite, but must be taken with the 80-hr hands-on Swedish Massage Foundations
